Not all characters should be in the same guild...
Does anyone else think that if you create two separate characters, that you should have the opportunity to make them unlinked?
As such if I create a character to play with one guild or group of friends, that I should be able to create a completely different character, and make it so that people that have my main character in their friend list, cannot see me in their friend list when i log on as a different character.
I have some friends i want to play with as one char, and friends i want to play with as another char, and i dont want that intermixed. But instead all my characters are linked, i can only be in one guild, and so forth and so on.
Maybe this has been mentioned before, and i do apologize, I just received an email response from the support team, and they recommended i post it on one of the official forums, so i decided to come here.
What does everyone else think?

I think this has been talked about before. It can't happen since otherwise "spying" would take place, or getting a character in a high ranked guild and sabotaging it to make your main one go up ranks.

My whole thing though, is that i deleted ALL of my characters, and yet, someone that had me in their friend list before can still see me, because my account is still apparently linked that that original character i created.
I think they should atleast be able to clear any friends lists that would have had that characters name. I mean, the no spying thing is good, but I dont like that all my characters are permanently linked like that.

You CAN turn yourself off on peoples friends lists by setting your status to Away or Busy I believe, I know it hides you on the guild list, not sure about the friend list though because I can't add myself to test the theory...

How about your new characters were member of no guild to begin with, and could be member of the guild of your old characters if you so chose. But you could be member of no other guild.
I just have some characters that I play for fun once in a while, and don't want them to be affiliated with any guild, nor do I want them to have a cape. It doesn't work well when I try to dance naked with my female character... :P I kid, I kid... (I hate those)
Anyway... new characters should have the option to be in NO guild.
